Brian Hughes is Professor of Psychology at the National University of Ireland, Galway. He is a specialist in stress psychophysiology, health psychology, science communication, and the psychology of social issues. He has conducted extensive research into the ways human cardiovascular responses habituate during repeated or sustained stress exposure, helping to explain how some people are resilient to the long-term health effects of chronic stress. He is a former President of the international Stress and Anxiety Research Society and a Fellow of the Psychological Society of Ireland, and serves as Associate Editor of the International Journal of Psychophysiology.

Dr Karina Nielsen is Professor of Work Psychology at the Institute of Work Psychology at the Sheffield University Management School at the University of Sheffield, UK. Her main area of interest is how we can promote wellbeing in the workplace by making changes to the way work is organised and managed. Her particular interests are in how to develop tools and methods to support organisations implementing such interventions. She is a research affiliate at Karolinska Institutet, Sweden, an adjunct professor at Griffiths University, Australia and a Professor II at the NTNU, Norway. Nathan A. Bowling is a Professor of Psychology at Wright State University (Dayton, Ohio, USA), where he teaches within the industrial-organizational psychology Ph.D. concentration. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed articles, many of which have appeared in top journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. Nathan is a fellow of two professional organizations—the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS). He serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. Nathan's current research is funded by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and he currently serves as a consultant to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).

Bob Sinclair is a Professor of Industrial/Organizational Psychology, having previously held faculty positions at Portland State University (2000-2008) and the University of Tulsa (1995-1999). He currently serves as the graduate program coordinator for the Department of Psychology's Ph.D. and MS programs. Dr. Sinclair is a founding member and past-president of the Society for Occupational Health Psychology and a Fellow of the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology and American Psychological Association. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief for Occupational Health Science as well as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Business and Psychology and an editorial board member of the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, and Group and Organization Management. His published work includes over 80 book chapters and peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Journal of Organizational Behavior. He also is the editor of four volumes including Building Psychological Resilience in Military Personnel: Theory and Practice (2013, with Tom Britt), Research Methods in Occupational Health Psychology: Measurement, Design, and Data Analysis (2012, with Mo Wang and Lois Tetrick), Contemporary Occupational Health Psychology: Global Perspectives on Research and Practice, Vol. 2 (2012 with Jonathan Houdmont and Stavroula Leka) and Vol. 3 (2014 with Stavroula Leka). His research interests focus on Occupational Health Psychology - the application of theories and methods of psychology to the study of worker safety, health, and well-being. His current research focuses on (1) economic stressors (such as job insecurity and perceived income inadequacy) and health, (2) building organizational climates that enhance worker safety, health, and well-being, and (3) occupational health risks in special populations such as healthcare (physicians/nurses) and military personnel. 

Prof. Sharon Glazer

Dr. Sharon Glazer is Professor and Chair of the Division of Applied Behavioral Sciences at the University of Baltimore and President of Healthy Organization, Inc. She has over 25 years of teaching, consulting, and research experience, with expertise in cross-cultural issues in organizational psychology, specifically worker stress and organizational development. Her research has been supported by several external and internal grants, most notably as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health, as a Fulbright Fellow, Erasmus Mundus Fellow, and NASA Ames PI. She has taught and conducted research through her visiting professorships in universities in Paris, Bayonne, and Bordeaux in France, Bologna, Italy, Barcelona and Valencia in Spain, Coimbra and Lisbon in Portugal, Wellington, NZ, and in Budapest, Hungary. Sharon was the Treasurer for the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (2007-2017), Editor of the International Journal of Stress Management (2010-2015). She is a Fellow of SIOP, the International Academy for Intercultural Research, and the International Association of Applied Psychology. In 2021, The University of Baltimore Yale Gordon College of Arts & Sciences recognized Sharon with a Distinguished Scholarship Award, as well as the University’s President’s Faculty Award, the highest honor given annually to a single faculty. Sharon is currently a co-editor of a monograph series on Culture, Organizations, and Work and a book series, Emerging Cultural Perspectives in Work, Organizational, and Personnel Studies, published by Springer, as well co-chair of SIOP’s International Affairs Committee. External to her academic posts, Sharon engages in consulting projects with nonprofit, for-profit, and government organizations from start-up phase to fully mature.


Amardeep Singh Rai

Amardeep Singh Rai got selected to IPS and was allotted Punjab cadre in 1994, and after working in various parts of this State, as police chief of districts; he moved on to do a five-year stint, in Intelligence Bureau, with Government of India, in New Delhi. On return to State of Punjab, in 2012, he worked in anti-corruption department of Punjab Government and became Head of that Department, just before last Assembly elections. In last five years, he has worked as IGP Patiala Zone. On promotion to Additional DGP rank, he was assigned to head of police vertical dealing with Punjabi diaspora, a post he is holding till date. Amar, as he fondly known, is interested in reading, debating and having good conversations. At present, holding forth on Clubhouse has become his passion. He is happily married to an advocate wife, and their single daughter, has just completed her graduation in Psychology and International Relations, from University of St Andrew’s, in Scotland, UK.

Dr. M.P. Ganesh is an associate professor at the Department of Liberal Arts, IIT Hyderabad. He is also currently heading the Department of Entrepreneurship and Management at IITH. He is an organizational behaviorist by training. He has completed his PhD from Humanities and Social Sciences Department IIT Bombay and has earlier worked with Department of Management Studies at IIT Madras. He was also associated with reputed academic and business organizations like IIM Ahmedabad and Raymond Ltd. His teaching and research interests include corporate social responsibility, Eco Friendly behaviours at workplace, Food waste behaviours, organizational structure and design, cross-cultural collaborations, virtual teams and helping behavior at work place. He is a well-known Trainer and Coach in the field of Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Development and its Management. Consulting assignments include; NGOs (International, national, local), government development organizations, co-operatives, educational institutions, and private corporate sector in the areas of institutional development, selection of top management personnel, consumer education, employee mental health, rural development, rural banking, and cooperative development. Imparted training on Team Building, Executive Effectiveness (Personal Growth Labs.), and Total Quality Management, which included managers from South Asia, South East Asia, and Africa. He has also conducted team building programmes for community health workers at Whyalla, South Australia, under the aegis of the University of South Australia and in Kabul, Afghanistan for Leaders of Rural Electricity Cooperatives, and REST, Ethiopia. He has been a visiting faculty in the University of South Australia; Xavier Institute of Development Actions and Studies (XIDAS) Jabalpur; Faculty of Management Studies S. P. He also worked as Stress Management Consultant (Hon.), Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit, Mediciti & Care Hospital, Hyderabad, India.  Dr. Reddy is the founder of International Stress Management Association (ISMA), India chapter (1999). He has given keynote addresses and presented several papers at national and international conferences in the areas of stress and positive psychology in India and abroad.
