Dr. Jan Van Dixhoorn

Dr. Jan Van Dixhoorn was chairman of the working group to redesign the cardiac rehabilitation process in Kennemer Hospital, from 1998-2000. This was part of a national endeavour to redesign care, facilitated by Ernst & Young, consultancy and the Ministry of Health.

He was head of one of the first Biofeedback Clinics in the country, from 1977-1983, located in Kennemer Hospital, location Deo, in Haarlem.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Stress Management Association (ISMA) and vice-president since 2001. In 1993 he initiated the Dutch ISMA branch and became its first president, up till the present day. He co-organised the fifth International Conference of ISMA, in The Netherlands, in 1995.
He is member of the editorial board of the journal 'Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback' and recently became associate editor of the 'International Journal of Stress Management'.

Prof. Sharon Glazer is Cross-cultural organizational psychologist who studies the role of culture in individuals' organizational ABCs (affects, behaviors, and cognitions), changes in cultures due to domestic policies in a globalizing world, and differences and similarities between cultures on individuals, teams and organizations' ABCs.
Awardee of University’s President’s Award; the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Scholarly and Creative Activities Award (2021)
Dr. Glazer was a Fulbright scholar (1996-1997) at the Technical University of Budapest, as well as northern Italy and England, from 1999-2000 she was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, and in 2006-2007 she was an Erasmus Mundus Scholar (1 of 3 people selected world-wide), teaching and researching at University of Paris and University of Bologna.
